Description
SO SASSY is an attractive mare, stamped by her sire, Coolmore’s sensational SO YOU THINK. SO YOU THINK was a world class racehorse with 10 Group 1 wins in two hemispheres defeating over 75 individual Group 1 winners. SO YOU THINK has proven himself as a leading sire with more than 10 Group 1 winners to his name. He is also proving himself as a broodmare sire, being the dam sire of dual Group 1 winning FIREBURN, victor of the Golden Slipper and Sire Produce.
Bred by the highly regarded Corumbene Stud, SO SASSY is from CHOISIR mare DAYTIME who has produced two winners from two runners and she remains in Corumbene’s elite broodmare band. DAYTIME is a half sister to the consistent Group performer MASSIMO who won at Group 2 level twice and to the dam of Group 1 winner and exciting young sire EXOSPHERE. SKYMIST, a winner by LONHRO from DAYTIME, is expecting a foal by STREET BOSS this season.
A winner over 1100m, SO SASSY was retired from racing late last season (October) and unfortunately did not go in foal. A breeding soundness certificate is available above. She has been rugged and had an equilume on since late June. SO SASSY is easy to handle, good for the farrier, on the truck, in the crush etc. She stands appr 16 hands.
