Forward young filly from the first crop of up and coming First Season Sire OMAHA BEACH who is arguably WAR FRONT's best son at stud. A multiple Group 1 winner from 1200m - 1800m who only stood for 2 seasons in Australia and from limited numbers offered this year, his yearlings averaged 49.3k and sold for up to 210k. From his first Northern Hemisphere crop he's sired 5 winners at a high 31.2% W:R strike rate and a Stakes Place-getters including Group 3 Irish E.B.F. Fillies Sprint placed LAUNCHED.
This filly is out of the beautifully bred French mare KUTINA (by Kendargent) who was a smart racemare winning over the mile in France and she descends from a very deep international family that also features Australian Group 1 QLD Oaks winner DUAIS. She is out of multiple Stakes Winner SOLDERA and is a half-sister to two more Stakes Winners in EXHI & DILUVIEN, as well as the dam of another two Stakes Winners in ALIGNMENT & ALDA.
2nd dam LA PEPITE is the grand-dam of QLD Oaks winner DUAIS and furthermore is the daughter of outstanding Broodmare FRANFRELUCHE.
Kutina herself is only young having only had the two foals to race with her first foal a 130k yearling by Written Tycoon and now a 2 x winner in Singapore while her 2nd foal is still only a very lightly raced 3yo by I Am Invincible and 65k Inglis Premier Book 1 yearling who has shown she is capable of adding another winner to the mares record.
This filly by Omaha Beach has broken in like a breeze with Kane Harris at Swept By farm who has commented - "a nice filly with a great attitude, she does everything right and has progressed well, has a good nature, good action, and is quite forward in how she has picked everything up".
She completed her breaking in end of July and will enjoy a good break now to further develop before her next preparation. Only being sold as the owner is dissolving racing stock ahead of the upcoming breeding season, she'll make a lovely addition to any stable.
