Description
With a pedigree littered with black type performers, Gowana is being offered not in foal and ready to be served by a stallion of your choice.
Gowana is by the brilliant broodmare sire More Than Ready, and has strong female bloodlines going back to the great Marauding. Gowana herself is the dam of 5 foals to race with 3 winners including Harmony Rose who is a black type winner and multiple Group 1 placed mare. Harmony Rose was retired from the race track and was sold in 2022 for $300,000.
On type, Gowana is a lovely mare. She stands at 15.3 and has a temperament that befit her looks. She is a strong mare who produces athletic and physically correct foals. She currently has a cracking filly by The Autumn Sun which will be sold this year.
The decision to sell Gowana has not been taken lightly as she has been a terrific producer, however due to downsizing by our clients she is being offered for sale.
Gowana is currently located at Goodwood Farm in Scone and has been under lights and rugged in preparation for the up coming season. She is a lovely, easy to deal with mare, who will be a great asset to any farm.
