Country Class Mare / Her Most Recent Start was on Friday 28 August at Kempsey - 12 Starts: 1-5-0
This prep she won first-up then ran second at Gosford beaten a pimple and has run 4th at her past 3 starts. We pushed her out to 1900m last start but that was our mistake as she didn’t get the trip. She is a seven-furlong horse that gets a mile.
It’s the start of the breeding season and she has a terrific pedigree. She is a well conformed mare standing 16.1hh and 510kg.
She has done her job for us however she can keep racing and go to stud next season. The decision is for her new owners.
Our owners want city class racehorses and MISS SHALAA has proven not to be at this level. Having been given every opportunity to date, she has shown that she is capable of winning in the bush, but the tougher Sydney / Provincial environment is beyond her.
As such we have advised our Ownership Team not to persevere any longer. Now that she has turned a 5yo, the time has come to say goodbye. She must be on-sold to make room for other young 2yo’s to fill the box.
Astute breeders will be aware that MISS SHALAA is a daughter of TALENTED MISS (by Al Maher) who is the Winning Full -Sister to stakes-placed ACOUPLAMAS (pronounced A-Couple-of-Mars).
Dynamic Syndications raced ACOUPLAMAS and she has now produced Gr1 Winner QUICK THINKER (by So You Think), Gr3 Winner SEASONS (by Sebring) and Gr3 Placed THE AUGUST (by I Am Invincible).
So breeding along these lines would have desirable commercial appeal. Some sires she would mate well with include: Snitzel and his Sons, Exceed And Excel and his Sons, I Am Invincible and his Sons, Shamardal Sons, also sires such as So You Think, Justify, Dundeel, etc.
She is at Shane Rose’s Bimbadeen Park and prior to the close of this auction, is available for your inspection by appointment. She is a well-grown, well conformed individual.
Whilst we share the above details, we always recommend potential purchasers should arrange their own vet inspection to rely upon.
As with all Dynamic Syndications managed horses she is offered unreserved to dissolve the co-ownership and is on the market from the opening bid.
