Description
Selling in foal to Zoustar's exciting Group 1 preformed son Zousain, whose first crop yearlings have sold up to $650,000, the well-related Sebring mare Kenzie is sure to appeal to stud masters looking for a very well put together, no fuss mare who has already produced five foals from her first five years at stud.
With four named foals under her belt, all that have gone to the races have won, with connections having a strong opinion about her current 3yo gelding who made his 2yo debut in the Max Lees Classic at Newcastle, a race that also produced the dual Group 2 winning Group 1 Golden Slipper runner-up Cylinder.
The current 2yo, a filly by Written By named Mane Character will be raced by successful owner Domeland and is in the stable of up and coming young Wyong -based trainer Sara Ryan.
From the family of Listed winning 2yo Spectrolite and the consistent mare Sirileo Miss, a winner of just shy of $1m in earnings highlighted by four Group victories, Kenzie is herself bred on the same Sebring x Danehill pedigree cross that has produced 37 stakes preformers led by Group 1 winner Amphitrite.
As a daughter of Sebring, who is starting to make a name for himself as a broodmare sire, producing 21 stakes performers including the Group 1-winning juvenile On The Bubbles, the resultant foal will be bred on a similar Zoustar x Sebring pedigree cross that has recorded eight winners from just nine runners including the current stakes-performed 3yo's Sunsource and Celestial Storm.
