THE WATERMAN is currently in full work, his owners prefer to race metro and stakes grade horses so have decided it is time for him to move on to make way for their younger stock coming through. He would be well suited to a lesser jurisdiction of racing and has the ability to provide his new owners plenty of fun on the track.
A pedigree that is littered with brilliant stakes horses within the first dam alone, THE WATERMAN hails from one of the best pedigrees in the stud book. His phenomenal family makes him a half-brother to superb stallion STARSPANGLEDBANNER who was crowned Champion Sprinter in Europe, Great Britain and Ireland, as well as Champion Sprinter in Australia; after winning or placing in an incredible 14x stakes races winning the G1 Royal Ascot Diamond Jubilee, the G1 Newmarket July Cup, the G1 MRC Caulfield Guineas as well as the G1 Oakleigh Plate.
Other half-siblings include BAROOD, and GOLD CHANT who has gone on to produce G1 MRC Thousand Guineas winner AMICUS as well as stakes horses CHEER LEADER and IL CAVALLO.
