Almahero presents as a wonderful opportunity to race a tough and consistent gelding in almost any jurisdiction.

He is a very versatile gelding who has won from 1200 to 1600 and across all types of surfaces. He is effective from the front or ridden quietly and has won on all sized tracks. He is a brilliant fresh horse who holds an impeccable first up record across his career.

His first up win this preparation where he sat 3 wide without cover the entire trip is evidence of his talent and being at a NSW BM of 62 he is an easy horse to place.

He is a very sound horse and an uncomplicated to have around the stable.

His long time ownership have decided to move him on and focus on their other racing interests.
