Description
Blend is a very sound Class 2 gelding that is in full work and ready to take back to the races next week. he last raced at Grafton on September 2.
Blend is being offered for unreserved sale because in the opinion of his current ownership group Blend is extremely difficult to place in the NSW system which consists of predominantly Benchmark races. In their view he is the perfect horse to get through the grades in any state that programmes Class restricted races. .
Blend won his Maiden 1120m at Grafton coming from well back to defeat Milo Man which then went on to win six in succession including five at the better TAB tracks in North Queensland.
His Class 1 win came in pretty quick succession where he led throughout to score an easy win in a Grafton 1185m event.
However in his thirteen subsequent starts Blend has only managed to contest two Class 2 events with all of his other runs being restricted to Benchmark style racing.
In his only two Class2 starts he was placed third in one over 1400m at Grafton and he was beaten only three lengths in the other again at Grafton over 1400m.
His benchmark form is also consistent without winning in those eleven starts he has been placed on one occasion and just behind the placegetters on a number of other runs. His price profile supports this strongly with Blend starting well in the market at eleven of his starts since winning.
In our opinion Blend is 100% sound he has never had an issue of any type in our care. He is a dream to have around the stables, work, travel and take to the races. Independent veterinary inspections are welcomed.
Blend is offered for sale by a boutique stable which takes pride in offering horses for sale capable of winning races. Since online selling has become the norm this stable has sold a total of five horses all have won races with every horse retuning its new owners well over the purchase price in stake money.
