Description

Songbird Star is a 4yo chestnut mare by Stratum Star.

She is a good, strong, athletic type and showed good ability at home and in her early trials.

After only a fair preparation in which we expected a little more from her, we sent her for a spell and when she returned, she unfortunately sustained a tendon injury in trackwork and was forced into retirement.

We suggest sending her to the breeding barn, but if the new owners are patient she may return to racing given the time.
