Description
Willinga Panache is a lovely daughter of emerging top-class broodmare sire Sebring, being offered in foal to exciting young stallion Trapeze Artist. Willinga Panache was a dual winner at 1200m and 1400m and also metropolitan-placed in the very competitive Sydney area. She boasts a great pedigree, being a three-quarter sister to Horse of the Year and five-time Group 1 winner Dissident, who is also by Sebring. Diana's Star also has a yearling colt by So You Think and a colt foal by Maurice to come through for the pedigree.
This mare also offers the chance for an immediate and potentially very valuable update, with her half-brother Highness (by Snitzel), who was a $900,000 Magic Millions Yearling, being an impressive winner at the first official 2YO trials at Kensington recently for trainer Michael Freedman - he heads towards the time-honoured Group 3 Breeders' Plate at Randwick on Saturday 30th September, where he will be one of the leading chances, with Zac Lloyd booked to ride.
Sebring is off to a fantastic start as a broodmare sire, with 22 stakes performers to date from 319 starters (6.8%), headed by Group 1 winning 2YO On The Bubbles.
Sebring is also the dam sire of Trapeze Artist's best performer to date, that being the very recent Listed Exford Plate winner Griff, who heads towards the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas.
Willinga Panache is a lovely, big mare, standing 16.1hh and was herself a $410,000 Magic Millions yearling.
