Great opportunity to secure a sound four-year-old to race immediately in Northern Hemisphere-bred Hydrate.
The gelding is by gun European stallion Tamayuz and was a yearling purchase from the Arqana Sale in France.
Hydrate hasn’t shown that he will make it to Melbourne metropolitan grade in his first two starts so his owners have made a the decision to move him on.
Both his races have been over 1600m and it is expected that he will enjoy racing over 2000m and beyond according to his DNA distance marker.
He is a bombproof horse that is a nice ride and easy to do anything with. He would appreciate heading to a weaker environment, which would allow him to thrive.
He weighed in at 492kg before his last start and he is around 16 hands in height.
The horse is a pleasure to deal with in all aspects of her training and is available for inspection or vet examinations at Danny O’Brien Racing, Barwon heads, Victoria before the conclusion of the online auction.
