Description
Caballus is a high class, talented 3YO colt by Champion Sire I Am Invincible out of the G3 placed mare Calming Influence.
He has always possessed quality:
- $1,000,000 Inglis Easter yearling
- On debut he was very unlucky, getting beaten less than two lengths and never seeing clear air.
- At his second start he was a strong winner at Randwick over 1100m defeating subsequent group class filly Estriella.
- Started favourite at his next two starts, including the Group 3 Up & Coming Stakes.
- Last start he can be forgiven for his midfield effort as he was back last throughout the races, conditions were abysmal, and Rosehill was favouring horses on pace. It was a bold effort to finish as close as he did.
Caballus still possesses stakes class ability and will continue to improve with racing. This quality galloper would suit any racing jurisdiction.
