Sullivan Bay sire Nicconi requires no introduction. A prolific sire of winners (557 at present) and nearly $90 million in progeny earnings, his 27 stakes winners to date have been led by 9-time Group 1 winner and Australian Horse of Year Nature Strip. Far from a one trick pony, Nicconi has sired 20 horses in total which have won more than $500,000 on the track, including six $1 million+ earners
Nicconi, as a broodmare sire, has kicked off this side of his career in tremendous fashion, with his daughters already having produced the extremely promising Group 3 winner Magic Time (by Hellbent), as well as the Listed Race winner A Very Fine Red (by Deep Field), as well as the Group 2 placed 2yo Boyfriend (by Snitzel). It is worth noting that his daughters look to be clicking well with all the major Australian sire lines.
