Description
Ranch Hand is a 5yo gelding who is the winner of 3 races from 24 starts with a further 3 minor placings with earnings just shy of $500,000. He has always shown ability right from his early days as a two-year-old but has just struggled for consistency in recent times and the owners have decided to sell.
He was gelded during his four-year-old year and since this procedure, he has struggled to perform in the required metropolitan grade. He is a nice individual with a great temperament and should appeal to any buyer looking for a fit open company horse. He last raced at Eagle Farm on the 7th of October and went for a spell following this run.
He is a Listed winner, multiple Group placed and finished 5th in the Magic Millions two-year-old race and he is still Magic Millions eligible.
‘’He is a lovely straight forward horse and we asked quite a bit of him as a two-year-old. He showed a glimpse of form at the elite level, racing against some of the best horses at three and he has struggled since.
