Description
ADELAIDE FEVER is a 5yo chestnut mare by CHOISIR, out of Miss Adelaide the half-sister to EL ROCA. Her second dam Rubimill is the full sister is Millrich (dam of DANERICH and REDZEL).
Adelaide Fever is a lightly raced, ultra-consistent performer that would be a welcome addition to any country/provincial stable.
Adelaide Fever is an athletic, well put-together type of mare standing at approximately 16.1hh.
Adelaide Fever has had 13 starts for 8 top 3 finishes.
She is straight-forward to do anything with (ride, handle, travel, swim, shoe etc).
She has been a sound and clean-winded mare throughout her training and just completed her latest campaign with Matthew Dunn. She pulled up well from her most recent run on the 24h of October 2023 at Grafton (once again finishing into the placings) before heading to the paddock for a spell.
Note: she had an eye surgery (conjunctival graft) as a yearling without complication before commencing racing.
Unfortunately, she has not reached the connections expectations of competing at metropolitan grade, so she has been advertised for genuine unreserved sale to dissolve the large syndicate.
