VALLEY FORGE (GB) is a 3-time winning import stayer from Great Britain who has completed 1 prep on Australian turf. Don't let his first 2 races here fool you, he has yet to take the track here in Australia in his most favourable conditions and distance, being a good track at 2800m and beyond. This is where he showed great ability during his time in Europe, which includes wins at 2400m, 2800m and 3200m.
He took his time to acclimatize to the Australian weather, but he is looking much improved this prep with a good jump out at 1200m, where even though he is a single paced stayer he stayed in it well at half the distance that he is comfortable running.
