Description
An athletic type of filly by a young sire going places in WRITTEN BY. She is out of the three time winning Danewin mare, Praise Songs who hails from a deep international family. Closely related to the champion European galloper MUHTATHIR, this family also traces back to the family of multiple Group One winner and successful sire, BERNARDINI!
She is bred on the fantastic Written Tycoon x Danehill cross, which is fast becoming one of the elite ‘nicks’ in Australasia. This cross is responsible for Group One winners Captivant, Booker & Miss Magnate. All of whom are by Written Tycoon and his sons, out of Danehill lined mares. Written By’s outstanding Group winning juvenile THE NOVELIST is also out of a Danehill lined mare.
By the outstanding champion 2yo son of champion sire Written Tycoon, WRITTEN BY, who has got off to a fantastic start to his sire career and continues to impress with his progeny in the sale ring. With his first crop of 2yos he was able to sire four stakes performers, more than Snitzel could achieve with his first crop! This included the outstanding unbeaten group winner THE NOVELIST who remains a very exciting prospect going forward.
WRITTEN BY has continued in a rich vein of form with his 3yos this season by siring ten individual winners already, making him a leading second season sire.
