Description
Roanoke Rhonda is a strong, well-built mare by the Encosta De Lago stallion, LAGO DELIGHT from the Danetime mare, BLUEGRASS DANNI. This means she carries the exceptional Danehill - Encosta De Lago cross. She won her maiden over 1000m where she led all the way. A speedy mare that was retired due to injury. She has been left empty this season to enable the buyer to breed her to a stallion of their choice.
Her dam Bluegrass Danni has had 7 to race for 5 winners, including 5 time sprint and metropolitan winner APPALACIAN ANNIE. Bluegrass Danni is also a half to two well performed stakes winners in MARASCO, winner of 9 stakes races including the VRC Makybe Diva Stakes G2 and runner up in 4 more, 3 at G1 level, and dual stakes winner SIESTA BAY.
