Description
Acappella Moon is a Metropolitan winning 2 yo filly. She is a lightly raced 3yo and has competed in Listed Stakes grade, running 5th at first start in Marybynong Trial which included future Group winners Charme Stone and Zulfiqar, and was later close up 4th in Without Fear.
Second foal of well bred winning Encosta de Lago mare, from the family of Group1 winners, A Touch of Love, Loire and Vouvray. By Listed winning and Group 1 placed Sebring Sun, who is doing a very good job with a good rate of winners to runners from limited runners to date.
This prep trialled a good 2nd and solid run first up without luck , but trainer feels in subsequent 2 runs, may have gone sour with racing at this time of year.
She is well proportioned , but not a big filly , and might do well with time, both mentally and physically, similarly to her 4yo full sister, who has now won over $206,000.
