Karaka Lad is a 3 time winning, 6YO son of Ifraaj, who is out of a half sister to multiple Group 1 Winner SHAMROCKER and Group 1 Winner ROCK DIVA.
Karaka Lad shows very good ability at home in training, which his strong pedigree would suggest he has, however he does not always bring this form to the racetrack.
This gelding has shown he can handle all track conditions, winning on Soft/Heavy tracks and running a close second on a Good Track back in May.
This horse does have a history of exercise induced pulmonary hemorrhage that the stable is currently managing him for.
Karaka Lad is sound and would be better suited to continue his racing career in a weaker jurisdiction.
