By the dual G1 winning and extremely talented son of DUNDEEL, in CASTELVECCHIO, this potential dual-purpose filly presents a great opportunity for the astute buyer to either sell on as a yearling in 2024, or race and keep as a broodmare to take advantage of her current pedigree.
Finishing his juvenile season with a record of 5:3-0-2 which included wins in the ATC Champagne S., Gr.1 and the Inglis Millennium, RL, CASTELVECCHIO cemented himself as one of the leading juveniles of his year, with form around LOVING GABY, MICROPHONE, COSMIC FORCE, DAWN PASSAGE etc. Training on as a 3yo, he won the Rosehill Guineas, Gr.1, and was further placed in both the MVRC WS Cox Plate., Gr.1, and ATC Spring Champion S,. Gr.1, to prove himself as one of the best horses of his generation, ending his career with four wins and nearly $3M in prizemoney.
The filly herself is out of an unraced REDOUTE’S CHOICE mare, and she has had three runners for three winners! Her full sister is currently in work with Mark Minervini at Newcastle, and there are mares in the family that have been covered in 2023 by proven Gr.1 stallions such as EXTREME CHOICE, BETTER THAN READY & INVADER, young Gr.1 winning stallions PORTLAND SKY & IN THE CONGO, as well as the Middlebrook Valley Lodge born and raised Todman S,.
