Description

Field of Mars is a lightly raced 4yo gelding by leading stallion Russian Revolution. He is the half brother to two winners including Group 3 winner Military Zone.

Field of Mars showed a great deal of talent early on dry tracks, running second in a maiden to Flemington winner Precious Charm and close up behind multiple metropolitan winner Flying on a Limb. He then went out for throat surgery.

He has come back to the stable and whilst his breathing has been good, hasn't been able to recapture that form and needs a change of environment. He would be best suited trained in a quieter environment than the busy Flemington centre.

*Field of Mars has accepted to race at Mornington 21/01.

As per SZR policy, this horse is offered under the rules of usual public auction.
