Description
Green Run is a lightly raced 4yo Gelding by Nicconi out of the good producer Gleams (Northern Meteor). With 11 starts for 2 wins and 3 placings, and a NSW rating of only 58, his best racing is ahead of him. He is sound and in excellent condition, and is proven up to a mile winning recently at Toowoomba.
We moved Green Run out to Moree last year to get him away from the humid weather at our farm in Northern NSW and he thrived. Since winning at Toowoomba he has been back with us and performed below expectations at his subsequent runs at Lismore and Eagle Farm.
As we consolidate our operations back to the farm, we have to sell horses that aren’t suited to our environment so they can perform better elsewhere.
This horse has a long racing career ahead of him and would suit an area with lower humidity. He is very genuine and a pleasure to deal with.
