Introducing a truly gorgeous Brown LONHRO Mare – TRENDY LASS
NOTE: LONHRO is doing an excellent job as a Broodmare Sire. LONHRO Mares have produced 841 winners; 70 stakes winners; 115 Stakes Horses, 2 Gr1 winners & $121million in prizemoney.
TRENDY LASS has had just the 7 career starts, she was an incredibly promising 2yo that bolted in on debut as a $1.40 favourite. She then contested the Gr2 Sweet Embrace Stakes behind Fireburn & She’s Extreme, unfortunately she suffered an injury upon jumping that required an extensive spell.
Her ownership group were incredibly patient, giving her 12 months of rehab as she had shown us to be Stakes Class on exposed ability. Unfortunately, our patience has not been rewarded, Trendy Lass returned to the races and ran a couple of competitive races at Newcastle, Goulburn and Orange but she’s not the same horse she once was.
Our owners need city class racehorses and despite our best efforts to get TRENDY LASS back to that level, she has proven not to be at this class.
She’s enjoyed a nice four week break in the paddock and she’s ready to come back into work. This mare would suit the astute horseman/ horsewoman, the true horse whisperer type. You can see she had immense talent, if you can get her back in form, it wouldn’t shock us to see her quickly race through the grades.
This is a genuine sale of a horse which has shown ability. She can certainly win a few races in the right company or you can retire her immediately and get her ready to be covered by your Stallion of choice.
Now that she’s a 4yo, the time has come to say goodbye to our incredibly sweet mare. She must be on-sold to make room for the newly purchased yearlings to fill the boxes.
Prior to the close of this auction, Trendy Lass is available for your inspection by appointment. Whilst we shared the above details, we always recommend potential purchasers should arrange their own vet inspection to rely upon.
As with all Dynamic Syndications managed horses she is offered unreserved to dissolve the co-ownership and is on the market from the opening bid.
