Description
AFRICAN DAISY 5yo Mare – Suited up to a mile – by American Pharoah – 5% SHARE ONLY – Trained by ANNABEL NEASHAM.
Here is your opportunity to purchase 1 x 5% Share in AFRICAN DAISY. She’s a genuine metro class racehorse that returned from a spell on the 6th of January with a fast finishing second placing in the F&M BM 78 over 1300m at Randwick.
She will be nominated to run on Saturday 27th of January in the BM78 over 1400m at Randwick with Chad Schofield booked to ride. Alternatively, there is a Class 3 1400 in QLD on the 3rd of February or a BM78 over 1350 at Rosehill Gardens on the same day.
We space her runs as she can lighten off quite quickly during a racing prep.
AFRICAN DAISY has been wonderful fun for her ownership group to date, she was a $50,000 tried horse purchase from the 2021 Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale and since that day our owners have raced her 18 times for 3 Wins, 5 Seconds & 2 thirds, pocketing $252,340 in prizemoney along the way.
Daisy as she’s affectionately known, has returned this prep as a more mature mare, she’s holding better condition and her two trials were excellent before a barn storming return to the races at Randwick. Jockey James McDonald rode her first up and told connections they should expect to have their photo take more than once this prep, we hope he’s right !
This is a genuine sale of a 5% Share ONLY, of a horse which has shown Saturday Metro ability and she’s only at the start of her preparation. She can certainly win a few more races in the right company before she is retired and then on sold as a broodmare prospect.
African Daisy hails from a beautiful American family, she is a daughter of Stakes Winner CIGUARAYA & is closely related to Stakes Winners FUERTEVENTURA, MIDNIGHT SOIREE, SILVER TIME, HOLIDAY SOIREE & MARQUEE PRINCE.
