Boot Of Cortez has had 2 recent runs this preparation for two seconds, his most recent beaten 0.1 lengths at Warrnambool.
Following his most recent start he pulled up lame in his near fore, with further investigation (vet report attached) it revealed he would require arthroscopic surgery be performed on the knee and recommended up to 6 months spelling and rehabilitation.
This presents a good opportunity for someone who is patient and prepared to invest in surgery and rehabilitation for a genuine gelding who certainly has more to offer on the racetrack.
