This Colt is by our residential 2YO G1 winning son of Lope De Vega, LUCKY VEGA.
His dam is the dual sprinter-miler wining American-bred mare, Perfect Diamond. She is a full sister to dual 2YO winning and Stakes winner, Dr. Diamonds Prize, and other precocious stakes winners such as AMERICAN APPLE, MISS RED DELICIOUS, etc.
In recent times, American-bred mares have produced Group One winners such as LITTLE BROSE, KING COLORADO, AFFAIRE A SUIVRE etc.
As a Broodmare Sire, PURE PRIZE has produced 51 SW (4.8%) and 18 GW including 5x G1 winners,
An esteemed 2YO career, Lucky Vega claimed his 2YO Group One by 3.5L and beat Group One winning horses such as St Marks Basilica and Laws of Indices.
