This Colt is by our residential 2YO G1 winning son of Lope De Vega, LUCKY VEGA.
His dam is the Sprint-winning Nicconi mare, SHE’LL BE APPLES, who is a half-sister to the x3 winning multiple stakes placed BOX ON COLLINS (LOPE DE VEGA)
Although Nicconi has had minimal runners as a Broodmare Sire, he is the Broodmare Sire of recent G1 Sir Rupert Clark Stakes winner MAGIC TIME and of stakes winners A Very Fine Red and Semana.
Additionally, this is the family of Group One winner RUSSETING and of recent Stakes winning multiple Group placed CHANTILLY LACE.
An esteemed 2YO career, Lucky Vega claimed his 2YO Group One by 3.5L and beat Group One winning horses such as St Marks Basilica and Laws of Indices.
Additionally, Lucky Vega claimed placings in the G1 Royal Ascot St James’s Palace Stakes, G1 Newmarket 2000 guineas and a fourth in the G1 Curragh Irish 2000 Guineas.
