By Group 1 WS Cox Plate winner Ocean Park (Thorn Park), the sire of 39 stakes performers led by Group 1 winners Tofane, Kolding, Ocean Billy and Kovalica, this filly is out of the winning Volksraad mare Volksbelle, a three-quarter-sister to stakes performers Champion Chestnut, Dame Mapperley (dam of Group 2 winner Le Baron) and also to the dam of four-time Group 1 winner Volkstok’n’barrell.
Bred on the Ocean Park x Volksraad pedigree cross that has produced four winners from four runners led by the Listed winner Southern Ocean, this filly is out of a mare by Champion Sire Volksraad, himself the broodmare sire of over 110 stakes performers highlighted by 11 individual Group 1 winners including promising young Group 1-producing sire Hellbent, Champion Hong Kong galloper Able Friend as well a fellow elite level winners Kawi, Callsign Mav, Beauty Flash, Lights Of Heaven and Volkstok’n’barrell, the close relation to this filly.
