** Pedigree Update ** Our Frankie, half sister to Our Jen won over 1400m at Wagga Wagga on the 25/02/2024.

My family and I have been breeding for over 25years and we usually breed to race ourselves.

With the recent passing of my father, my family and I have decided to scale back on breeding and concentrate on racing our current crop of young horses.

We have bred Our Ellen , her mother Our Jen, her grand dame Our Crowned Dancer and her great grand dam Another Northern.

Over the years we have enjoyed a lot of fun and success. All our progeny have been sterling and sound types.

The above mare Our Ellen was Our Jens 2nd foal and she was unraced due a paddock injury suffered in the spelling paddock after her first preparation with Jason Deamer.

In breeding, Our Ellen’s first foal is a cracking 4yr old  gelding by Outreach named Carbrook (photos available upon request) and he is currently in work with Trainer Brett Cavanough at Scone. He has had 3 recent starts with a second, third and fourth. He recent 2nd and 3rd placings have been of the most narrowest of margins. He is sound horse with a great temperament as we like be patient with our young horses to give them every opportunity to succeed and race on for many years.

Our Ellen’s 2nd foal is a beautiful 3yr old filly by Hallowed Crown named Helen’s Crown (photos available upon request). She is a lovely big type with a great temperament. She is currently spelling after her first preparation with Trainer Mark Howard at Wyong.

Our Ellen’s 3rd foal is a beautiful yearling filly by Cosmic Force (photos available upon request). She is currently spelling and will be broken in in the near future and will be trained by John Bannister in Newcastle.

Our Ellen’s 4th foal is a Tassort filly pictured. She is a beautiful type as you can see in the photos and was an early foal born on 7th September 2023.

Tassort has made a fantastic start to his career as a stallion, with his progeny both well received in the sale ring and hitting the ground running on the racetracks.

So far this year his yearling fillies have sold for up to $350,000 through the sale ring and have been well sought after by some top class judges.

From his first crop he has had 12 starters to date he has produced 4 individual winners, one of which is a stakes winner in his crack filly MANAAL who won the Group 3 Gimcrack and runner up in the Group 3 Widden Stakes.

He is a young stallion that is really making his mark on the bloodstock industry.
