Description
The Fun Gene is a daughter of the famous New Zealand mare, HAPPYANUNOIT. During her illustrious race career, she won 5x G1 races in America and New Zealand, additionally, she placed in six individual G1 races. Happyanunioit was the Champion 2YO filly in New Zealand, and Top Filly on the Australasian 2YO Classification.
Her Grunt filly at foot is a September foal and is by the same sire at Group winning 2 and 3YO, Veight along with MIRAVAL ROSE, a Stakes winning 3YO who also placed second in a photo finish in the G3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes.
A three-time Group 1 winner over 1600m, Fierce Impact was Australia’s Champion Miler in season 2019/20 and defeated numerous top-class rivals when winning the Toorak Handicap, Cantala Stakes and Makybe Diva Stakes. An exceptional type, Fierce Impact realised $900,000 as a foal and was a 2YO winner on debut. On the track, he was blessed with a powerful turn of foot and was sound and tough. Fierce Impact is by international sire phenomenon Deep Impact, a breed-shaping influence whose sire sons are making waves early in their stud careers.
