Ingenious’ sire FLYING SPUR is the Champion broodmare sire of an incredible 109 individual Stakes winners, highlighted by G1 superstars THINK ABOUT IT, HOME AFFAIRS, SEBRING, PIERATA, BOOKER, MAZU, PREFERMENT, SHILLELAGH and DELAGO DELUXE to name but a few.
INGENIOUS’ second damsire is also a Champion broodmare sire in ENCOSTA DE LAGO, responsible for his daughters producing 161 individual Stakes winners, including ALLIGATOR BLOOD, FANGIRL, ALABAMA EXPRESS and HAPPY CLAPPER.
She is also bred on the similar FLYING SPUR x ENCOSTA DE LAGO cross as SOOKIE, the dam of 2-time G1 winner SHADOW HERO.

Ingenious' second foal by Palentino has been retained to race. She has been given time to grow and is expected to jump out in the coming weeks. He is a tall, athletic and muscular son of Overshare, and we're excited about getting them both to the race track soon.
Ingenious is an easy mare to catch, lead, trim and in the crush. She is well mannered and is easily handled for travel to and from stud.
