This is your chance to enjoy the upcoming Sydney Autumn carnival as a part owner of one of the race tracks stars, in the big races. Trained by leading Australian Trainer Ciaron Maher, a 5% share in talented 3yo Colt Pasima is offered for sale. By champion sire Pierro out of the Group 3 winning mare Ravi, Pasima was originally sold at the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale in 2021 for $1.5 million. This is your chance to get involved on the eve of the Sydney Autumn Carnival with a host of feature races at his feet.
Pasima won a Super Maiden impressively on Wednesday 6 March over the mile with a sharp turn of foot, to take his record to 6 starts for one win, three seconds and two thirds for $146,850 in prize money and bonuses in just his first preparation. In those six starts no horse has passed Pasima in the straight highlighting his electric acceleration that will take him places. In Australia’s best maiden race on Magic Millions day he stormed home from 13th at the 400m mark to run a close second over a distance short of his preferred trip, in the $250,000 contest.
Pasima is nominated for the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas on 23 March and after the race on Wednesday Ciaron Maher pinpointed the Group 3 Carbine Club on Day 1 of the Championships as another option. Given his elite acceleration, races like Australia’s second richest race, the 2024 $10m Golden Eagle can’t be ruled out for the coming spring either, when Pasima turns four.
The sky is the limit for this colt, both on the track and in retirement. Pasima is a colt that is going places and being a $1.5m yearling purchase who is still an entire, we’d expect he will be given every opportunity to secure his future as a valuable Stallion prospect.
