Description
Kooringal are proud to offer our online draft for 2024.
There has been great success from our past sales, with our inaugural sale producing 72% winners to runners to date, a number that is still climbing as they mature and of the 24 runners to start 22 have won or placed.
Prizemoney returns have also already exceeded 4 times the average purchase price and it won't be long until we see some really smart horses come out of the sale.
A couple of highlights inc. Jamarra, purchased by the Ciaron Maher and Best Bloodstock team who raced 9 times as a 2YO for a 2 wins and 4 placings, including running second to multiple Gr. 1 winner Jacquinot and placing behind multiple Group winner Lofty Strike at Caulfield and Flemington in succession.
Fine Example is also as her name suggests; has won her last 3 starts, 4 in total and again is due to return for the Todd Howlett and Hancox bloodstock team, where I'm sure the lightly raced mare will give owners a good thrill. Her half-brother is in the sale.
Kooringal are the breeders of this seasons multiple Gr.1 winner Tropical Squall, a first crop filly by resident sire Prized Icon, who looks as though she is tightening her stranglehold on becoming the Champion 3YO filly in Australia.
Other horses reared on the farm include a two prong attack at this stage in the $1Million Country Championships final at Randwick, the favourite Bandi's Boy for Danny Williams and Asgarda for Doug Gorrell.
