Description

Hussy Pie is a really lovely type of mare with good size overall but she is quite high in the wither which sees her standing at aproximately 16.2hh. She has a great temperament and will let down into a very nice mare for breeding.

She is by Pierro who is doing a fantastic job as a broodmare sire with a strike rate of something like 7.5% Stakes winners to runners. Pierro is the sire of the dams of Jacquinot, Karavas, Chilled, I Am Unstoppable, The Spirit Of Zero etc.

Hussy Pie is out of a Hussonet mare who is a half sister to DEER VALLEY.

Having only placed in her race record is by no means a true reflection of Hussy Pie's ability. She was a late maturing horse to begin with taking time to get to her through to racing and recently she has been going sore in her work which has prompted the ownership group to put her up for sale rather than continue to push her.

She has been retired from racing and is being offered as a broodmare prospect only.
