Description

For sale is a 5% share in city placegetter DUE CALZINI, 2yo gelding by D’argento, out of Terminally Pretty.

His sire is Group One winner D'ARGENTO (by So You Think) who with only a handful of 2YO runners to hit the track, has already thrown black type! His city winning filly Rag Queen won on debut at Canterbury then stormed home in the $2m Inglis Millennium Inglis to run third place - only beaten by 0.82 lengths. From two starts, her career earnings are $234,650!

This son of Terminally Pretty won a nice trial at Warwick Farm on 2nd January, beating home Golden Slipper 2nd favourite Switzerland – with 3 subsequent 2yo winners coming out of the trial.

He then went on to flash home for 3rd on debut at Doomben, before running 7th in the 2yo Paul Perry Handicap over 1300m at Newcastle, with his rider notifying the stable she dropped her whip at the 300m mark.

He is currently having a short 1-2 week spell, before returning to work at Goulburn and being aimed up at a return to the races late April – early May.

Genuine sale due to owner’s circumstances having changed. Owner has placed their own reserve on the horse and is happy to remain involved if reserve is not met.
