Description

Radiant Knight is a magnificent looking 4yr old gelding by So You Think. He stands 16.3 and weighs 560kg.

He has the most beautiful nature and is easy to ride, float, shoe and treadmill but is only an average swimmer.

He had a terrible preparation suffering from colic after his first 2 runs. Eventually we found that he had sand in his gut and treated him to successfully remove it. He never lost his appetite throughout the whole ordeal and still held weight and looked amazing.

His next run was at Mount Gambier where he was very unlucky not to win and was luckless on a couple of occasions following getting knocked down on the home turn at Gawler, but still ran on nicely.

His last couple or runs he has been struggling with the very hard training tracks as well as on race day so put a line through them.

I would have loved to have another preparation with him, but the majority of the ownership group don't think he is up to city class, so we are moving him on.

It's not often you get a horse who looks like this with such a kind nature, and he will have an amazing future post racing.

It is of my opinion on return from a well earnt spell it will not take long for him to salute the winning line, once we get a bit of rain.

To the best of my knowledge, he is sound and has not had any joint injected since being in my stable.
