Description
Young well bred producer with a positive early cover to Horse of the Year and unbeaten Champion Two-Year-Old, PINATUBO.
In foal to a hot stallion from an extremely active family, two young half sisters have already produced Stakes horses (Gr.1 placed & Gr.3 winner) from their first foals.
*NB ENSUED (4yo Lemondrop Kid, 10st-3:2:2) placed in the Hong Kong Classic Cup, the second leg of the HKJC Four-Year-Old Classic Series in early March.
Spirit Rose is a half sister to Stakes winner and Stakes producer SPIRIT BIRD (Savabeel). A Group winner and dam of Gr.1 placed 3yo FAME. FAME is back in work with Peter Moody who also has the yearling colt by So You Think.
Spirit Rose's half sister MISS MINOGUE (Pentire) produced a SWer with her first foal BOUYANT and is in foal to PROISIR.
Both MISS MINOGUE and her Group winning son BOUYANT (Dalghar) are now in Australia.
Spirit Rose's dam PRESS LEAK is a multiple Stakes producer and is a half sister to the dam of ENSUED (9st 3-2-2) ENSUED is fourth in the market for the HK Derby this Sunday following his impressive 3rd in Hong Kong Classic Cup L last time out.
PINATUBO progeny are in demand. He was fully booked in both Australian seasons to date at $55,000.
His N.H first crop impressed at the Sales selling to 500,00gns off a £35,000 s/f. PINATUBO ave £146,000 is very popular with 42 of 45 sold giving best clearance of any stallion at the top end (ave over 100k).
