Dam of a $500,000 Zoustar colt from the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale!
AARALYN is an 11-year-old mare by leading sire and broodmare sire Choisir and from one of the best female families in the studbook. She is a two-time winner, a half-sister to Group 1 Thousand Guineas winner Amicus and a very close relation to influential sire Starspangledbanner.
Choisir is the broodmare sire of five individual Group 1 winners including Champion Irish filly Winter and the dual Australian Group 1 winner In Secret. Aaralyn’s yearling colt by Zoustar sold at the recent Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale for $500,000 and will go into training with Bjorn Baker.
She has a Home Affairs filly weanling and is being sold unreserved to dissolve a partnership. She represents a terrific opportunity to purchase a well-credentialled broodmare with considerable upside and well-related progeny to race in the coming seasons.
Aaralyn stands at 15.1 ½ hands high. She is a powerful, imposing mare with good length of hip and a strong forearm and gaskin.
