Mostro is a 3YO gelding by Maurice out of the Black Type Arena mare, Allaboutus, who is the dam of 5 foals to race for 3 winners.

Mostro is lightly raced with just 2 starts to his name for 1 placing. His best finish came on 27th September ’23 when he finished 2nd on a Good track at Rosehill over 1200m.

On the 5th of October 2023, Mostro was found to have swelling surrounding the proximal aspect of his near fore flexor tendons near the back of the knee. an ultrasonographic examination of his near fore SDFT revealed a grade II/IV lesion from 8-10cm below his accessory carpal bone and he completed the recommended 4 month spell for this tendon lesion to heal.

He has been in full-training since 14th March and trailed at Randwick on 16th May. He will have another trial before heading to the races.
