Two To Tango, is a young, good-looking mare with a commercial international pedigree. She is by the sensational broodmare sire Fastnet Rock, who, as a broodmare sire has been responsible for FIVE individual Group 1 winners in Australia this season alone as well, which include two-time Group 1 winner ZOUGOTCHA and Golden Slipper winner LADY OF CAMELOT, not to mention the Magic Millions 2yo winner and Golden Slipper place getter Storm Boy.
She is from an international family, which includes a couple of champion fillies from Europe. She is also a half-sister to the ultra-consistent six-time winner and stakes performer BRAVO TANGO as well as the Group 1 placed 2yo CHIMBORAA. This is such a tough consistent family, with her dam producing six winners from just eight runners and looks a family which will keep improving.
Two To Tango is the dam of one foal, a sharp looking weanling filly by WRITTEN BY who will be targeted at an early yearling sale in 2025. She is being sold back in foal to WRITTEN BY on an early September service date. Successful in the Group 1 Blue Diamond at two, Written By has quickly stamped himself as being one of the brightest young sires in Australia. Already the sire of 36 individual winners including the likes of this season’s exciting Group 2 juvenile winning STRAIGHT CHARGE, last season’s Group 3 2yo scorer THE NOVELIST and the smart WA stakes winner RIPCORD. Written By is now a leading second season sire, and it’s unsurprising his yearlings continue to be in great demand Country wide. His yearlings sold up to $410,000 last year with a phenomenal average of $96,000 across the premier sales in 2023. This year we have seen his yearlings continue to be in high demand selling up to an incredible $700,000 at the recent Easter sale and averaging over $90,000 once again at the premier sales.
