Description
Quality mare selling as a broodmare only.
Unfortunately, injury has ended Atteindre’s short but promising racing career, but she has the pedigree and type to make it as a broodmare.
According to her trainer Enver Jusufovic, Attiendre is a mare with a good physique and beautiful action. “She was just hitting her straps when an injury forced her retirement,” he said.
Atteindre comes from a female line that is on the rise through her young dam and her Stakes-producing granddam.
Her dam La Chatte (by Medaglia d’Oro), a winner of two races, is emerging as an exciting broodmare. Her second foal, Kitty Chat (by Menari), from only three starts, was an impressive winner at Canterbury in January after a luckless first-start second at Warwick Farm for trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. Kitty Chat is back in work and headed for better things. La Chatte has a colt and filly by Star Turn to run for her.
La Chatte’s dam, the Stakes-winning Chinchilla, is the dam of the smart Brisbane Listed winning filly West Of Dalby and the Stakes-placed gelding Lanigera. Chinchilla has a colt by Pierro and Santos to run for her.
