Description
Legal Challenge is a striking 6yo chestnut gelding standing at 16.2hh by Star Witness x Songbird Lane.
He has had 29 starts for two wins and 10 placings at provincial and country tracks over 1200m to 1600m. His wins have been at Canberra over 1300m and Nowra over 1400m, with his most recent form seeing him finish 3rd at Newcastle over 1200m first-up this preparation.
He is being sold on behalf of the owners as he is probably best suited to country grade in NSW and would have more opportunities if he was trained in the country, especially the country-boosted races as his benchmark currently sits at 55. He would also be suited to racing in South Australia. It is well-noted that he can be fractious in the barriers but lately he has improved due to having further barrier education and pre-race ear muffs applied.
Legal Challenge is being sold sound and has had 3 starts this preparation, so he is fit and ready to race.
