Description
Maurice’s latest crop of runners (now 3YO) has the highest
stakeswinners/runners ratio of any Australian stallion’s 3YO crop with 10% SW/R: G3 winner Genzano & stakeswinners Namesake, Azula and Ganbare (G1-placed) from 40 runners.
With 26 stakeswinners & 5 G1 winners (Hitotsu, Mazu, Geraldina, Jack d'Or and Pixie Knight), Maurice is the only sire in history to sire a G1 winner at both 1200m & 2000m in both hemispheres at the same stage of their careers.
This filly’s dam Let's Get Loud ($260,000 NZB yearling) is a half-sister to G1 winner Chenille (Auckland Cup) and the dual 1400m GW & G1-placed dam of Not An Option (2YO GW).
She has a double of Sadler's Wells as do Maurice Group winners Shigeru Pink Ruby, Genzano and Kafuji Octagon.
This is the strong immediate family of Rosehill Guineas winner Mo'unga ($3.8m earnings) and Group winners Seraphic and Irlanda- both G1 performers.
