Description
This August-born Grunt Colt is the first foal out of the winning Wandjina mare, Spanish Victory.
She is from the x3 Group winning DANASINGA mare Conquistar. An elite Sprinter-miler, Canquistar was one of the leading 2YO fillies of her generation.
This Colt is bred on the proven O’REILLY x SNITZEL cross, this mating is similar to those of EL PATRONESS (G1 winner) and of SPLINTEX, producing a total of 4 Stakes winners.
With his first crop of runners, Grunt has enjoyed a break-out season at stud.
His recent WFA G1 winning son VEIGHT claimed the G1 George Ryder Stakes in a time of 1:28.09 which was a faster winning time than the likes of Champion racehorses ANAMOE and PIERRO.
On day two of the Championships Grunt enjoyed more stakes success with his 3YO Son RHYTHM OF LOVE placing in the 1400m Listed South Pacific Classic beating high-quality 3YO Stakes horses such as BUTCH CASSIDY, ROBRICK, PORT LOCKROY, HEMAN etc.
