Young mare from one of Australia’s greatest families, in foal to a Champion 2YO
This is the immediate family of blue hen mare Dancing Show which features G1 winners Shoals, Hurricane Sky, Tom Kitten, Al Maher, Manhattan Rain, Champion Sire Redoute’s Choice etc.
Marsanne’s first foal is a weanling filly by Admire Mars, Champion 2YO and the only 3YO winner of the Hong Kong Mile, in the second fastest time ever (1:33.25), faster than Maurice, Sunline, Beauty Generation, Golden Sixty, California Spangle etc.
Admire Mars’ first yearlings at all Australasian sales averaged $107,000 with top prices of $300,000, $240,000, $200,000, $200,000 etc., to buyers including Moody Racing, Waterhouse & Bott, Busuttin Racing, McEvoy Mitchell Racing etc.
Alsace’s resulting foal will be bred on the same Sunday Silence-Green Desert nick as Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Victoria Road and current Sydney G2 winner Kimochi.
There is strong upside with Marsanne as her close relatives have young stock to come by the likes of I Am Invincible, Dundeel, Wootton Bassett, Hellbent etc.
