Description
UNRESERVED SALE OF A QUALITY COMMERCIAL MARE IN FOAL.
Kween is a lovely young in-foal mare by the outstanding NZ broodmare sire, TAVISTOCK. Mares by Tavistock are well sought after with the six time G1 winning MR BRIGHTSIDE being one of his more recent highlights as a broodmare sire.
This mare is well mannered and easy to handle and she generally goes into foal on one cover. She is carrying just her third foal which is by PROFITEER - having also foaled a lovely athletic colt by he same sire last year (retained by the owners). Her first foal is still just a yearling and is by emerging sire, HELLBENT. All the upside is in front of you with this mare.
Kween has a very commercial pedigree given that she is by the brilliant Group 2 and Group 3 performer in TAHNI DANCER – herself a daughter of stakes winner TAHNI GIRL. Third dam is the exceptional BALLROOLM BABE – a multiple Group 1 winner & Champion 2yo. The rest of the pedigree page is littered with quality Black Type winners.
In foal to one of the speediest racehorses to grace a racetrack in PROFITEER, the resultant mating is designed to provide the precocity that is so often sought after by the Australian racing public.
Profiteer has been well supported by Newgate Farm and their clients and stood for a fee of $16,500 in his first two seasons.
All inspections are most welcome with the mare being located at KBL Thoroughbreds in Beaudesert, QLD.
