Secret Liaison is a multiple stakes winning mare by Artie Schiller (USA) out of a Jugar (USA) mare. Artie Schiller’s daughters have produced Listed winners such as The Bopper, Comeback Is Real & Cast Member.
Secret Liaison descends from a family of black type performers that include the Group 2 Pago Pago Stakes winner Deferential & Katima, winner of the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes.
The mare’s yearlings have proven a commercial commodity, fetching $300,000, $400,000, $375,000 and $475,000.
Secret Liaison has already produced a stakes horse in Styling City, who has acquired lucrative black type in Hong Kong, a jurisdiction noted for the quality of its pattern races. The mare has stock yet to run for her by some of Australia’s most elite stallions including Written Tycoon, Deep Field and Extreme Choice. Extreme Choice is Australia’s most statistically elite stallion, who is most likely to produce a stakes winner, a Group 1 winner or a stallion. He will give Secret Liaison every opportunity to achieve further success at stud.
