Exciting young mare Sherpa Lass was a flying machine who won her first 4 starts, all on metropolitan tracks after easily winning her first trial.
As is often the case with the fast ones a number of niggles restricted Sherpa Lass and she was reluctantly retired after only 9 starts.
Hailing from a quality black type family, Sherpa Lass is one of 4 winners from metro winner Highest Honour and is a full sister to the tough Glasgow Girl an 8 time winner of nearly $300k.
She is a half sister to multiple city winners Guard the Safe (3 wins & $225k) and Aberdeen Queen (5 wins & $126k).
Sherpa Lass’s first foal is a running colt by prolific winner getter Sessions and her second foal is a cracking Blue Point colt (pictured), a horse with immense strength and presence.
