Description
SIRENS STAR is a dual Sydney metro winner from 10 starts. She is a lightly raced 5YO mare who has shown talent on the track and is regretfully now available due to injury (see vet report). A large, roomy, well-muscled mare, she stands 16hh with a racing weight of 510kg. She has accredited herself well on the track, winning over 1250m and 1400m, respectively. Prescribed treatment for the injury has been undertaken since the vet's advice on 14 November.
SIRENS STAR is a daughter of STORM SIREN, a four-time winning sprinter and half-sister to Hong Kong’s Champion Sprinter in HOT KING PRAWN (G1) and dual group winning sprinter SIREN’S FURY (G3). Her dam STORM SIREN has kicked off her broodmare career in grand style, with both of her first two foals to race being multiple city winners. Half-brother FIRST IMMORTAL is an exceptional current season 4YO, with prizemoney over $600,000 in 8 wins from 17 starts, including the Listed Anniversary Vase at Caulfield and second in the G3 Bart Cummings at Flemington.
This family has tremendous upside, with half-brothers to SIRENS STAR and FIRST IMMORTAL by PRIDE OF DUBAI and WRITTEN BY to run. The dam STORM SIREN is currently in foal to ST MARK’S BASILICA.
